When people asking me which is I prefer either blogging using blogger.com or wordpress with own domain and hosting ? I use both but i prefer using wordpress with own domain and hosting.
For people who really knowing nothing about here I make a list what you need to know and what you need to do when blogging.
- Decide what you want to blog about
- Get your own domain and hosting
- Learn About FTP
- Setup your wordpress blog using fantastico
- Setup your wordpress permalink
- Setup your wordpress writing setting and put ping list
- Install basic wordpress plugin to your wordpress blog
- Make blog post at least once a week
- Submit your blog to search engine like google,yahoo and MSN
- Join mybloglog,technorati and blogcatalog
- Learn about SEO
- Learn about backlink to increase Google Page Rank
- Comment other blog
- Increase traffic (video marketing)
